Went to Honeywood school.
He farmed at Honeywood for 31 years before moving to Orangeville in 1955. Also while in Brampton he was foreman at Calvert-Dale Estates.
At separate times he was active in Honeywood Church and Broadway Pentecostal Tabernacle in Orangeville where he served as a church trustee.
He was survived by 4 children and 14 grandchildren.
