Sylvester Doan

Sylvester's Father, Emery Harrison Doan, lived at Hornings Mills, Ont. Belle and Ves (Sylvester) were married at Belle's home in Honeywood. Belle's Brother, Norman rang the dinner bell inside the kitchen all the rest of the night. No one slept all night. Belle and Ves travelled to Wingham by train with a snow plough ahead of the train as the snow banks were very high. They visited six different Wilson families on their honeymoon. They farmed in Honeywood, ON.
