Married in Wesleyan Methedist Church, Cornwall ON, Rev. Jacob Weaver. Leafa, in 1966 joined the staff of the Perth District Health Unit, and was the first District Health Nurse based in Listowel. She tought the first prenatal classes offered in Listowel.
